Our History

To fulfill a long-felt need in the Oroville community and after much planning and effort, the Oroville Board of Realtors® was officially organized by the adoption of By-Laws on March 31, 1952 and by election of Officers and Directors on May 5, 1952.

The Board's Charter was presented by CREA President James Udall, on June 4, 1952, at a largely attended public dinner at the Oroville Inn. Present and participating were CREA Executive Secretary, Eugene P. Conser and Realtor Frank O. Bride, Jr., Sacramento Vice President, National Association of Real Estate Boards.
